Ms. Chandana Khan, I.A.S, Chairman & Director General
Ms. Chandana Khan joined Indian Administrative Service in 1979 and has worked in several capacities in the state of Andhra Pradesh. She had worked as collector in Kadappa District. She was also the Director – “Woman, Child and Disability Welfare”. She is Secretary to “Road and Building Department” also the Principal Secretary of “Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports” and Commissioner of Enquiries under GAD. Presently she is working as Principal Secretary, SSA, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh and Secretary (Tourism) Full Addl. Charge. She is known for her iron will and astute administration. She can make impossible, possible. She is double faceted dynamite, an artist on one hand and an administrator on the other. She has a creative artistic temperament and has created an aesthetic world around her. She has a unique way of expressing herself in colors. Though she was born in Bengal, her identity is more profound in Andhra Pradesh. She has been staying on this Telugu land for 19 years now serving Telugu people in various ways and forms. A few minutes with her is worthwhile. She completed her M. Phil in English literature from Jadavpur University, Kolkata and has also done an M.A in gender development from University of East Anglia, Norwich. Her areas of interest are painting & creative writing. She has participated in solo and group exhibitions of paintings in India and abroad. She has published 4 collections of poems & 3 collections of short stories in Bengali.
Dr. P.Narayana Reddy : Director
Dr. P. Narayana Reddy, Director, Dr. YSR NITHM was serving at School of Management Studies, CBIT as professor and Head for 15 years. Prior to that he worked as Reader in Commerce in the faculty of Commerce and Management, Goa University for about 9 years. He graduated from Sri. Venkateswara University Tirupati in 1977 and did his Masters in Commerce in 1979.He was conferred Doctor of Philosophy in Marketing Management in 1986 by Sri. Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur. As an academician, he has published 10 books including Marketing Research (Excel publications, New Delhi), Entrepreneurship Text and Cases (Cengage Learning, New Delhi), Research Methodology and Statistical Tools (Excel publications, New Delhi). He has more than 45 Research papers and 55 popular articles to his credit. He completed 4 research projects sponsored by UGC and ICSSR New Delhi. He guided 6 Ph.Ds students and 7 M. Phil students and 9 more students are pursuing their research on various current topics leading to Ph.Ds. He was the organizing committee member appointed by the Ministry of culture and Youth affairs, Govt. of India to celebrate Republic fifty. He attended more than 25 National and International seminars and symposiums and presented papers related to the Education, General Management, and entrepreneurship. He also chaired more than 15 Technical sessions in seminars organized by various Universities and Institutions. Presently, he is Executive Committee member, Association of Indian Management Schools. He is editing a quarterly Journal EB Journal of management and Research.
Mr. S. Sudha Kumar: Director, School of Hospitality
Sri S.Sudha Kumar (MBA, M.Phil) has put in 32 years of vast teaching experience in the field of Hospitality and churned out more than 5000 students to be the finest hospitality professionals of India. He joined as a faculty at IHMCT & AN, Hyderabad (formerly known as Food Craft Institute, Vidyanagar, Hyderabad) which is one of the 19 Central IHMs across the country established by Government of India, Ministry of Tourism. He served IHM - Hyd at every level beginning from a Lecturer, Sr.Lecturer, Head of Department and currently as Principal I/C. His Culinary specializations gained a grip on various Regional Indian Cuisines and International Cuisines. He is a Trainer for the student teams, participated in All India Level (Budding Chefs) competitions and bagged 6 times overall 1st Prizes conducted by NCHMCT. He is a role Model and Mentor for many top most chefs in the country. His Culinary excellence has been contributed to public through weekly articles 'Ruchi - Abhiruchi' in 'EENADU' Sunday Magazine continuously for 15 years covering nearly 2000 culinary creations. He has also performed many popular cookery shows in almost all daily TV Channels and got famous as 'Andhra Sanjeev Kapoor'
LIMCA BOOK OF WORLD RECORD – he played a role of Team Leader in making World's Biggest ‘LADDU’ in the year 1992.
All his expertise was utilized by the then Chief Minister Late Dr.N.T.Rama Rao and the present Governor of A.P. State Shri E.S.L.Narasimhan for organizing prestigious State level Banquets. He was also an advisor for State Hospitality Tender Committee for Afro Asian Games and catered to the scale of 2000 pax per day.

Ms. Jayashree Bhaskaran - Chief Administrative officer
She is post Graduate in Economics and has 25 years of rich experience working in Secretarial and Administrative areas. As CAO, her job is to look after the administration of the institute. CAO takes the responsibility of the maintenance of the campus including student’s hostels and supporting infrastructure. She is the custodian of all official documents of the institute. She coordinates the meetings of the Governing Council and implements the decisions of GC from time to time. CAO is the administrator who provides total administrative support for all the activities and to lead a team of staff in the institute and guide them in their day-to-day activities and to assist the Director in the day-to-day functioning of the institute.
Mr. P.S. Sridhar - Assistant Registrar
Has a work Experience of over 15 years in Secretarial Support, Administration, Coordination, Networking, and Capacity Building for all functional areas of Management. He did his B.A. in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management, M.A. in Public Personnel Management and also has a Masters of Tourism Management degree to his credit. He is presently working as Assistant Registrar in Dr. YSR NITHM and deals with objectives like Planning manpower for different departments, Calling applications for filling-up vacancies, Organizing interviews, Issuing appointment orders, Preparing Agenda points for the Governing Council meetings, Preparation of advertisements for admissions, Student counseling and Maintenance of attendance records & leave registers.
